Ferdies Choir Shines at the Eisteddfod

On Monday, 29 July, Ferdies' choir performed exceptionally well at the Eisteddfod and scored an A+ grade for their exhibition. They performed so well that they even got officially invited to attend the provincial round, and that is richly deserved!

Our choir performed a beautiful montage of two Afrikaans songs, "Blouberg Strand" and "Victoria Baai" and ended with a heart-wrenching rendition of the African "Avulekile Amasango". Their harmonies, stage presence and passion really stood out.

We are thoroughly impressed with all the choir members for their work ethic, dedication and the way in which they represented our school with such grace and competence. Their angelic singing voices filled the atmosphere and left a lasting impression. Well done, Ferdies!
