“Yoh” , is all one could say after seeing that report!

Who’s been slacking? Who’s being standing on business? The answer lies on one sheet of paper!

From Term 2 procrastinations to Term 3 repercussions. Our learners are finally back from their holidays after a long three weeks of fun and being stress free. Anxiety echoes through the corridors and one thought bangs in their heads-“how well did I pass ?“.

Is the class silent, or silenced by the marks in front of them? As they receive their marks eyes open wide in shock of what’s in front of their eyes . For some it’s a good thing but for some…well, the tears in their eyes say it all.

Apart from the fact that their reports might not have turned out as they thought or might have been more than what they imagined, reports aren’t only about your grades but rather about paving the path for the term ahead. They show us areas where more effort should be put into and show us areas where we’ve grown and progressed.

So , what’s next you may ask. Well, let’s start with setting new goals and working on your “weaknesses”, realising that discipline is key to our academic success and that failure to prepare is actually just preparing for failure.

Overall, it is crucial to understand during these times that grades do not define you, they just reflect your understanding on certain topics. So, don’t stress if you didn’t ace every subject (yet!), but rather keep pushing for that academic comeback!
