The art of self-promotion is an essential skill of competitive drive. Welcome to the Big Brag of 2025, where flaunting athletic talent and exhibiting sing-song spirit is perceived as empowering rather than conceited. Presenting the pride of our school's athletics team was our head of Sports, Mr. Louw. The team announcement sent waves of enthusiasm in good faith that the athletes would do the school proud.
With her 'big-back' costume our MC, Mrs. Walstrand, opened the event, amusing the audience with two unique yet intriguing entrances, giving the microphone to Kwame Matlawe - our Pulse leader, to get the audience moving and the evening underway.
The 'Brag' began with a fun trip to the beach in the beige Ford Cortina with Mrs. Ford and her crew sashaying to the beat and Ms. Speedy bringing the party with her groovy moves.
The second act of the night brought back nostalgic memories of everyone's favourite childhood movie, The High-School Musical. Ms. Thaele, Mr. Louw, Mr. Fourie and the other Grade 12's brought the team spirit with the song "We're All in This Together".
The following act was a group of super heroes, with our principle, Mr. Smit as Batman succeeded by his entourage of legends.

The last act of the night was Mr. Serfontein and the masked, twirling ballerinas busting it down with an unforgettable showdown, ending the night of memorable performances with a bang!
The school's confidence in the sing-song group and the athletes was greatly influenced by the teachers' performances on behalf of our athletes and support from all the attending students from Ferdinand Postma.
