The Choir Camp

What happens when you bring together students, music and an afternoon away from home?

Following our success from last year, we had our first ever Choir Camp on the 11th of April, with so many unforgettable memories, organised by our chairperson Arlene De Lange and Leandro . We did tons of choir related activities such as karaoke, musical chairs and song association where Mrs. Carin gave us a word and we had to sing a song including it.

Throughout the camp we focused on improving our vocal techniques and practicing our songs for our upcoming performances for two hours with our lovely choir teacher Netanja Brink. In between rehearsals we also had time to bond with our fellow choir mates, shared meals and a lot of other fun moments together.

As we returned home it was clear that the camp brought us closer together as a group and made us better singers.
