In a true Ferdies Family act of love and kindness, yet another successful Valentine's Day has passed and brought us closer while adding a little extra love into our lives. 

The creative initiative to send an anonymous letter as well as a kissy stamp to a friend or even loved one has gathered the attention of many learners, creating fun and memorable moments between the learners of Ferdies. Decorated faces and sweet words getting spread around weren't just the only adventures shared. The raffle for the jar of sweets dragging the interest to participate in a once in a while experience was also successful. 

As not everyone could win the tempting jar of sweets the canteen added a little sweet treat to the menu: a waffle ice-cream mix, which had an over flooding interest among everyone, one not seen everyday. A little extra sweetness for a little extra lovely day. With the chance to have worn colourful, love inspired clothing, has created the chance for fun photos with friends and silly moments shared has defiantly imprinted core memories amongst us, even if there may be little comment about it. 

 Our hearts had yet another eventful surprise as hand written motivational messages were thrown over from the roof by our lovely matric leaders, making the day even more memorable, each person rushing to the front for a beautiful letter. Friends share thoughtful quotes throughout the day handing them out while also taking in the words written on a small piece of paper having a big impact on the day and the mood that was set throughout the few hours we had to spend with each other.

What a day well spent it was, every moment worth it. Love with the different shades of pink and red, or if you are like me, blue has wonderfully been celebrated, carried uniquely by every person according to their own taste and style.
